Discovering Sycorax is a monodrama about witch hunts as a historical and political metaphor for the patriarchate’s violence. It is based on Silvia Federici’s book Caliban and the Witch.

Discovering Sycorax combines acoustic voice and electronic music and is even composed as a collaboration of two composers, Amanda Martikainen and Miika Hyytiäinen.

The premiere of Discovering Sycorax will be in Berlin in fall 2024.
